DepEd Orders

In line with its continued thrust to protect its personnel from private lenders charging excessive rates on loans and engaging in unscrupulous practices, the Department of Education (DepEd) hereby issues the enclosed Revised Guidelines on Accreditation and Re-Accreditation of Private Lending Institutions (PLIs) under the Automatic Payroll Deduction System (APDS) Program and announces the re-opening of the said accreditation and re-accreditation.

In preparation for the 2013 Oplan Balik Eskwela and pursuant to DepEd Order Nos. 34, s. 2007; 30, s. 2008; 51, s. 2009; 68, s. 2010; 38, s. 2011 and 38, s. 2012, the Department of Education (DepEd) requires all regional offices (ROs) to submit the list of names and addresses of private schools with permit to operate, recognition or accreditation within their respective areas of responsibility.

This DepEd Order which provides the supplemental guidelines to the DepEd Order No. 83, s. 2012, further details the continuum in the SBM and PASBE processes. In this DepEd Order, an accredited status in PASBE is equivalent to Level III SBM practice.
