Use of only lead-safe coatings or paints shall be mandatory to all pre-school, elementary and secondary schools in anticipation of the phase-out deadline for lead-added architectural, decorative and household paints by January 1, 2017.

Under DepEd Order No. 33, s. 2015 entitled Implementation of School-Based Feeding Program (SBFP) for School Year (SY) 2015-2016, the SBFP will cover 532,752 severely wasted (SW) and 627,403 wasted (W) learners from Kindergarten to Grade 6.
