The Department of Education (DepEd) issues the Guidelines for Work Immersion as basis for the implementation of work immersion in all Senior High Schools (SHSs).
Relative to DepEd Order (DO) No. 51, s. 2015 entitled Guidelines on the Implementation of the Senior High School (SHS) Program in Existing Public Junior High Schools (JHSs) and Integrated Schools (ISs), Establishment of Stand-Alone Public SHSs, and Conversion of Existing Public Elementary and JHSs Into Stand-Alone SHSs, a provision on approving the establishment of a stand-alone SHS is hereby added.
For School Year (SY) 2016-2017, the Department of Education (DepEd) announces the conduct of the following End of School Year Rites.
Further to DepEd Order (DO) No. 46, s. 2015 entitled Detailed Guidelines on the Implementation of the Senior High School (SHS) Voucher Program, the Department of Education (DepEd) issues this Order to provide clarifications and additional information.
For the information and guidance of all concerned, the Department of Education (DepEd) hereby issues the enclosed Implementing Guidelines on the Release and Utilization of Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses (MOOE) Allocations of Senior High Schools.
The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has approved the Qualification Standards (QS) for the teaching positions for Senior High School (SHS) in the Department of Education (DepEd) based on the Resolution No. 1600358 dated April 5, 2016.
The Department of Education (DepEd) announces that the enrolment for Senior High School (SHS) for SY 2016-2017 in all public secondary schools will start on May 2, 2016. In line with this,school principals and/or school heads, with the support of the SHS Focal Person, and schools division offices, are enjoined to take the lead role in implementing enrolment activities in their respective localities to ensure universal participation in SHS. Also, schools division offices and schools are directed to use enrolment data to continuously improve their SHS implementation plans and to make necessary adjustments in order to ensure efficient school operations in time for the opening of classes on June 13, 2016.
