The Department of Education (DepEd) issues the enclosed Guidelines on the Application for the Senior High School  (SHS) Voucher Program (VP) for School Year (SY) 2018-2019 to provide clear and detailed guidelines on the procedures and flow of activities in voucher application, from prequalification to redemption, and other processes related to the application for vouchers.

The Schools Division Superintendents Examination, otherwise known as the Educational Management Test (EMT) shall be administered by the Department of Education (DepEd) every five years unless otherwise recommended by the DepEd Executive Committee due to existing vacancies. The date of examination shall be determined by the said Committee as per recommendation of the Board of Examiners and shall be announced in a separate Memorandum.

As per present DECS policy, elementary and secondary schools curricula do not operate on a semestral basis. The effectivity of grade/year placement of all PEPT qualifiers (both elementary and high school levels) shall be at the opening of the school year.
