For the information and guidance of all concerned, the Department of Education (DepEd) provides guidelines on the Effectivity of the Grade/Year Level Placement of Philippine Educational Placement Test (PEPT) Qualifiers.
The Schools Division Superintendents Examination, otherwise known as the Educational Management Test (EMT) shall be administered by the Department of Education (DepEd) every five years unless otherwise recommended by the DepEd Executive Committee due to existing vacancies. The date of examination shall be determined by the said Committee as per recommendation of the Board of Examiners and shall be announced in a separate Memorandum.
For the information and guidance of all concerned, enclosed is a copy of Civil Service Commission Resolution No. 021180 dated September 13, 2002 regarding the hiring of teacher eligible who failed to register under RA. No. 7836.
As per present DECS policy, elementary and secondary schools curricula do not operate on a semestral basis. The effectivity of grade/year placement of all PEPT qualifiers (both elementary and high school levels) shall be at the opening of the school year.
