The following publications are hereby authorized as additional reference materials which are eligible for purchase and use by DECS bureau, service, center, regional and division offices.

For school year 1997-1998, PE may be taught 2 times a week with the time allotment of sixty (60) minutes per session. Schools where 2 or more shifts of classes are followed can make adjustments provided that the time allotments for Health, Music/Arts and CAT are not reduced. Inclosed is a suggested schedule.

Effective school year 1997-1998, the inclosed guidelines for the separation of secondary school annexes from the mother school shall be observed. The set of guidelines is designed to conform with the provisions of DECS Order No. 5, s. 1989. “Guidelines and Procedures on the Implementation of Section 7 of Republic Act No. 6655”.
