This Department shall download financial subsidy to these implementing schools to augment their resources and pursue innovations as reflected in their approved School Improvement Plans (SIPs). Please see Enclosure No. 1 for the list of the 103 recipient schools.
This Project has expanded to forty-three (43) more schools in 2009. It is a research and development project designed to develop Filipino children who are equipped with scientific and technological knowledge, skills and attitudes.

Starting School Year (SY) 2011-2012, all public schools with substantial number of Muslim enrollees and private Madaris adopting the Standard Madrasah Curriculum are enjoined to implement the Refined Elementary Madrasah Curriculum (REMC) as amendment to DepEd Order No. 51, s. 2004.
The Department of Education (DepEd) through the Bureau of Elementary Education (BEE issued the DepEd Memorandum No. 458, s. 2009 entitled “Strengthening the Edukasyong Pantahanan at Pangkabuhayan (EPP) Curriculum in the Elementary Schools.”
The 2010 Revised Manual of Regulations for Private Schools in Basic Education has been issued as DepEd Order No. 88, s. 2010. However, after a careful review, there is a need to clarify certain provisions of said Manual.
