To further realize the full integration and unification of the different contracting schemes of the Bureau in the delivery of quality education to the out-of- school children, youth and adults in the Philippines through the Alternative Learning System (ALS), the Department of Education (DepEd) amends the guidelines for the ALS Unified Contracting Scheme.
In preparation for the 2013 Oplan Balik Eskwela and pursuant to DepEd Order Nos. 34, s. 2007; 30, s. 2008; 51, s. 2009; 68, s. 2010; 38, s. 2011 and 38, s. 2012, the Department of Education (DepEd) requires all regional offices (ROs) to submit the list of names and addresses of private schools with permit to operate, recognition or accreditation within their respective areas of responsibility.
This DepEd Order which provides the supplemental guidelines to the DepEd Order No. 83, s. 2012, further details the continuum in the SBM and PASBE processes. In this DepEd Order, an accredited status in PASBE is equivalent to Level III SBM practice.
Committed to raise academic standards through the K to 12 Basic Education Program and to enhance administrative efficiency in the delivery of basic education services to all school children and youth, the Department of Education (DepEd) shall engage the partnership of local, national, international stakeholders through inter-agency, or inter-country programs, projects or activities (PPAs) and adopt strategies to achieve these goals.
