In line with the goal of the K to 12 Basic Education Program to produce graduates who are ready for higher education, middle level skills development, employment and entrepreneurship, the Department of Education (DepEd) in collaboration with the Career Guidance Advocacy Program-Working Group (CGAP-WG), issues the enclosed Guidelines on the Conduct of Career Guidance Week for High School Students Effective School Year (SY) 2013-2014.
To ensure the appropriateness and relevance of data collected through the Enhanced Basic Education Information System (EBEIS), the Research and Statistics Division-Office of Planning Service (RSD-OPS) conducted series of consultations and meetings with several stakeholders.
For the information and guidance of all concerned, enclosed are the Guidelines on the Granting of Redeployment Allowance to Excess Teachers from Both Elementary and Secondary Schools. Likewise, the Letter of Agreement Template is enclosed for use in accordance with these guidelines.

This DepEd Order which provides the supplemental guidelines to the DepEd Order No. 83, s. 2012, further details the continuum in the SBM and PASBE processes. In this DepEd Order, an accredited status in PASBE is equivalent to Level III SBM practice.

In order to have a standard costing and to systematize the competency assessment activities of the technical-vocational (Tech-Voc) Senior High School graduates under the K to 12 Basic Education Program in 2018, the Department of Education (DepEd) adopts the modified Technical-Vocational Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Assessment scheme.
The Civil Service Commission (CSC), under the CSC Resolution No. 13-00166 dated January 31, 2013 (copy enclosed), has approved the Modified Qualification Standards (QS) for the Positions of Director IV (SG 28) and Director III (SG 27) in the Philippine High School for the Arts (PHSA).
For the information and guidance of all concerned, enclosed is a copy of the Guidelines on the Partnership Between the Department of Education (DepEd) and the Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in the Preparation of Budget Proposals and Execution of the Approved Budget. These guidelines shall serve as guiding documents for the partnership between the DepEd and the CSOs towards achieving an efficient and effective delivery of quality basic education accessible to all.
