DepEd personnel in nine regions begin receiving PBB for FY 2015

December 27, 2016

PASIG CITY, December 27, 2016 – Five days after the Department of Education (DepEd) issued a memorandum instructing its field offices to promptly prepare the payroll for the performance-based bonus (PBB), nine regions have started to release the incentive as of December 27 at 3:00 p.m.
School-based personnel in Regions 4A, 4B, 5, 6, 11, 12, CARAGA, Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), and National Capital Region (NCR) will be among the first to receive the PBB for Fiscal Year 2015 before 2016 draws to a close, allaying speculations that teachers will not be able to receive their well-earned year-end bonus.
Meanwhile, a memorandum on the processing of Special Allotment Release Order and Notice of Cash Allocation (SARO-NCA) in Regions 1, 3, 9, and 10 was already signed by Dir. Ryan Lita of the Department of Budget and Management’s Organization, Position Classification and Compensation Bureau (DBM-OPCCB).
The signed memo was scheduled to be forwarded to DBM Regional Offices (ROs) within the same day.
The Department also called on Regions 2, 7, and 8 to immediately submit their signed Form 1.0, or the Report on Ranking of Bureaus/Offices/Delivery Units, to likewise speed up the processing of their PBB.
