Addendum to DepEd Order No. 6, s. 2005 on the Selection of Honor Pupils/Students in Public Elementary and Secondary Schools

Heads, Public Elementary and Secondary Schools

  1. In recognition of the leadership skills and services rendered by the officers of Pupil Governments (PG) and Supreme Student Governments (SSG), the following points in the area of co-curricular activities performance shall be granted to the graduating pupils and students vying for honors in the elementary and secondary levels:
    Position Points
    President 5
    Vice President 4
    Secretary/Treasurer 3
    Auditor/Peace Officers/PIO 2
    Others (Year Level Representatives, COMELEC, PG/SSG Committees) 1
  2. Participants in international conferences, exchange programs, competitions and the like shall be granted the following points in the area of co-curricular activities performance:
    Position Points
    President 5
    Vice President 4
    Secretary/Treasurer 3
    Auditor/Peace Officers/PIO 2
    Others (Year Level Representatives, COMELEC, PG/SSG Committees) 1
  3. Points in the area of co-curricular activities performance shall also be given to pupils and students who serve as officers in the District/Division, Regional and National Organizations/Federations recognized by the Department of Education, to wit:
    Membership in any Major Organization (Science Club, YES-O, YECS, STEP, PG/SSG. School Paper, Scouting, English Club, Mathematics Club, etc.) President Vice President Secretary/ Treasurer Other Officers

  4. This Order shall take effect immediately. Previous issuances inconsistent with this Order are deemed amended.
  5. Compliance with this Order is enjoined.
