Prioritizing the Data Collection and Validation Needed Under the Enhanced Basic Education Information System (EBEIS)

  1. The Department of Education (DepEd) directs all regional directors (RDs), schools division/city superintendents (SDSs) and district supervisors to prioritize the data collection and validation needed under the Enhanced Basic Education Information System (EBEIS), for the DepEd’s resource allocation decisions are influenced by the data available in this system.
  2. In this connection, the provisions of DepEd Order Nos. 58, s. 2008 and 10, s. 2009 on the grant of overtime pay to all personnel involved in Enhanced Basic Education Information System (EBEIS) at the school, district, division, regional and central levels are hereby reiterated. Payment of overtime for Basic Education Information System (BEIS) and other data processing activities for other projects shall be taken from the region and division Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses (MOOE) Funds.
  3. Aside from the purpose specified in DepEd Order No. 33, s. 2012 on the use of funds transferred to the regional offices (ROs) and division offices (DOs), these funds can be utilized for supplies and materials, and services such as broadband stick, internet connectivity, electricity, among others, related to EBEIS activities.
  4. Immediate dissemination of and strict compliance with this Order is directed.
