Program Title: Learning-Teaching Evolution (LTE): Training on the Application of Thematic Teaching Principles and Integrative Performance Assessment
Target Participants: Grades 7 to 10 Proficient Teachers across Learning Areas
Target Professional Standards: PPST 1.1.2, 4.1.2, 5.1.2
Active Learning Hours: 32 Hours
At the conclusion of the four-day PD Program, proficient teachers across all learning areas will be able to:
- craft a thematic inquiry-based learning (IBL) lesson plan; and
- design an integrative performance assessment for a holistic, relevant, and responsive learning experience for lifelong learners.
Specifically, the participants will be able to:
- reflect on one’s role in integrating the SDGs in the teaching-learning process;
- develop game-based assessments using different digital tools and integrate gamification strategies effectively;
- design a thematic IBL lesson plan with SDG integration utilizing technology-directed assessment; and
- develop a school-based Workplace Application Plan (WAP).
