REVSEE A. ESCOBEDO is a lawyer by profession, a civil servant by heart.

Born in Gubat, Sorsogon in 1974, OIC-Undersecretary Revsee Acufia Escobedo
was not a stranger to public education for he was an exemplar product of such.
Atty. Escobedo graduated with honors both in elementary and high school at the
Gubat North Central School and Gubat National High School.

He tried to find himself in engineering but his wits and talents led him to the law
profession.

Before devoting his Work fulltime in the Department of Education, Atty. Escobedo
Worked as Chief-of-Staff of Bohol 2nd District Representative Roberto Cajes and
of then San Juan City Representative JV Ejercito. He also served as Sen.
Ejercito’s Chief-of-Staff when the latter was elected into the Philippine Senate.

Academe and education called Atty. Escobedo back. He rejoined the Polytechnic
University of the Philippines as a law professor, University Legal Counsel and
later on as the University’s Board Secretary.

While taking up a degree in Master in Public Administration at UP-National
College of Public Administration and Governance, Secretary—in—waiting Professor
Leonor Magtolis~Briones called on Atty. Escobedo to help her at the Department
of Education in the Very delicate assignment of organizing an office dedicated for
Procurement and Project Management.

Dashing as he still is, Assistant Secretary Revsee A. Escobedo has been married
to the former Magnolia Eva H. Jacinto, an employee of the Department of Social
Welfare and Development, with an adorable daughter Maria Anna Francesca.
