Atty.  Alberto T. Escobarte finished his Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Political Science. He also completed his supplemental professional education subjects. He obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree and passed the Bar Examinations. His government service spanning more than forty years already started in 1983 at the DepED Regional Office No. VIII and rose from the ranks by occupying different positions and official designations notably as Regional Legal Officer; Regional Administrative Officer; and, as Assistant Regional Director. 

 

He was assigned as Regional Director of DepED Region XIII-CARAGA from 2012 up to 2015. Designated, on concurrent capacity,  Schools Division Superintendent of DepEd Agusan del Sur in 2013. On January 21, 2015, he was reassigned as Regional Director of DepEd Region XI (Davao Region) up to May 31, 2019. 

 

On June 1, 2019, he was assigned as Assistant Secretary for Legal Affairs at the Central Office per designation order issued by the DepEd Secretary and eventually received his full-fledged appointment.

 

He received his rank appointment from the Office of the President as Career Executive Service Officer (CESO) II in March 2022. 

 

Effective August 1, 2022, he reverted to the position as Regional Director of DepEd Region 4A-Calabarzon carrying the status and rank as Assistant Secretary.
