Michael Joseph P. Cabauatan (Mic) is a professional with 15 years of diverse experience in HR and OD in the banking and the public sectors. These include Competency Modelling and Assessment, Learning and Development, Succession Planning and Leadership Development, Performance Management, and Change Management, specializing in systems and policy development and integration. He has worked with DSWD in the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program, and as head of the Department’s Performance Management Unit. He continued his HR work in DepEd, where he developed HR policies and standards, before transferring to the Development Bank of the Philippines working in Learning and Development, and Succession Planning and Career Management. He then worked for the Second Congressional Commission on Education (EDCOM 2) as Senior Policy Research Officer, before rejoining the Department of Education. Education has always been his life’s passion.
