1. For purposes of representation and transportation allowances (RATA) under Section 28 of the General Provisions, page 1231, General Appropriations Act, CY 1989, please be informed that the Department of Budget and Management has given the following field officials of the DECS the equivalent rank and rate as follows:

   Schools Superintendent	Assistant Bureau Regional Director	P1,200.00  each
   Vocational College/School Superintendent	Assistant Bureau Regional Director	P1,200.00  each
   Assistant Schools Superintendent	Chief of Division	P1,100.00  each
   Vocational School Administrator	Chief of Division	P1,100.00  each

2. Payment of these allowances shall be subject to the prohibition against double allowances, the availability of funds and existing accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
