Revised Minimum Standards for Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M.) Program

  1. Inclosed is the set of revised guidelines and minimum standards for the operation of the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program which has been recommended by the Technical Staff for Agricultural Education (TPAE), Bureau of Higher Education. A series of workshops and consultative meetings with in the various disciplines were conducted to further move and update these standards.
  2. The said guidelines and minimum standards approved by the Office amend MECS Order No. 32, s. 1986 and shall take effect beginning this school year, 1990-1991.
  3. All educational institutions offering such program are required to take the necessary steps in complying with the advised minimum standards.
  4. It is desired that the inclosed guidelines and minimum standards be given the widest publicity possible.
