May 22, 1991
DO 50, s. 1991
Prior Approval Required for Out-of-Station Trips
To:    Regional Directors
Assistant Regional Directors
1.   It has been observed that some regional directors and assistant regional directors take too many out-of-station trips to follow-up official and other matters at the central office or other regional offices.
2.   In order to cut down on transportation and travelling expenses and enable the regional officials to have more time to supervise and monitor activities in their respective regions, all follow-ups should be made through radio, telephone or FAX machine. The central office will handle  all legislative and budget office liaison work for the regional offices.

3.   No out-of-station trips should be made unless with the prior written approval of the undersigned or, in his absence, that of any of the three undersecretaries.
