DO 82, s. 1991
Measures to Safeguard the Validity and Integrity of National Test Results (NCEE/PEPT, UNIFIED/INTEGRATED NCEE (CAT), ETC.)

To:   Regional Directors
Schools Superintendents

1.   In order to exercise effective and efficient supervision and insure maximum control of the administration of the different national tests, and in the interest of economic and prompt delivery of services to students-clientele, all concerned are enjoyed to enforce/implement the following measures/safeguards:

a.   Reduce the number of testing centers without necessarily depriving any qualified examinee of his/her chance to participate in the examination.
b.   Deny individual request for certifications of test results, and issue free of any charges such certifications only to institutions ( i.e., schools, colleges, universities) to curb isolated cases of tampered and/or fake test results.
c.   Require the students to report the loss of their original reports of ratings directly to the schools where they intend to enrol; likewise, the schools shall request in bunch from the regional offices a certification of the students’ test results.
d.   Deny request (s) for more than one (1) copy of the certification of test results.
e.   Require school/universities/colleges (SUCs) in the region to verify the authenticity of test results of student applications.

2.   The regional directors or their authorized representatives shall be held accountable for any irregularities in the issuance of certification of reports of ratings.

3.   This Order shall take effect immediately.
