- This Office wishes to announce the elevation of the status of the Philippine Normal College into a State University to be known as the Philippine Normal University in pursuance of Republic Act No. 7168 entitled “An Act Converting the Philippine Normal College into a State University to be known as the Philippine Normal University,” copy of which is hereby inclosed.
