December 1, 1992 – DO 111, s. 1992 – Clarification on the Procedures and Guidelines for the Availment of the Property Replacement Fund

- With reference to DECS Order No. 128, s. 1991 on the Procedures and Guidelines for the Availment of the Property Replacement Fund, the following clarification is made:
- Requests for restoration/indemnification of damage or loss of property shall be prepared by the head of the school where the damaged structure is situated and submitted to DECS Central Office c/o Office of Planning Service through the DECS division/regional offices.In cases where several schools are affected e.g., typhoon damages, the division offices shall consolidate all requests for restoration/indemnification of property before submitting to the Central Office through their respective regional offices.
- The DECS field offices/schools are reminded to prepare promptly within thirty days the requests for restoration/indemnification of property to enable the Central Office to submit the Notice of Claim to GSIS within ninety (90) days after the damage or loss.
