1. Inclosed is a copy of Memorandum Circular No. 9 dated August 22, 1994 issued by the Office of the Ombudsman stating that no Ombudsman clearance is necessary for the payment of the money of the accrued leave credits (terminal leave pay) of a separated official or employee.
2. An Ombudsman clearance is required only for payment of retirement benefits.
3. Immediate and wide dissemination of the contents of this Order is desired.
