1. Inclosed is a copy of. Republic Act No. 8187 entitled “An Act Granting Paternity Leave of Seven (7) Days With Full Pay To All Married Male Employees in the Private and Public Sectors for the First Four (4) Deliveries of the Legitimate Spouse With Whom He is Cohabiting and For Other Purposes”.
2. In this connection, attention is invited to Joint CSC- DOH Memorandum Circular No. 1, s. 1996 on the same subject matter as inclosed in DECS Order No. 6.5, s. 1996.
3. Immediate dissemination of and compliance with this Order is desired.
