Guidelines for the Full Implementation of the New Salary Schedule in the Government

- Inclosed is a copy of Department of Budget and Management National Budget Circular No. 458 dated January 2, 1997, prescribing rules and regulations to govern the implementation of the new salary schedule in the government as mandated by R.A. No. 8244 and adopted under Executive Order No. 389, dated December 28, 1996.
- The Plantilla or Personnel and Salary Adjustment (PPSA) for the November 1, 1997 implementation, as prescribed in Annex B shall be prepared as desired in said NBC and a separate PPSA shall be prepared for contractual, casual and emergency positions.
- Please be guided accordingly.
