Preparation of Instructional Lesson Plans in the TEEP Provinces

1.   In line with the implementation of the Third Elementary Education Project (TEEP) which seeks to improve delivery of instruction and learning outcomes, the policy on the preparation of daily lesson plans in the elementary level in all TEEP provinces is hereby modified effective this SY 1998-1999 in accordance with the following guidelines:
a.    As a general policy, teachers shall be given the option to prepare their lesson plans in the manner and formal (e.g. weekly, syllabus style, block or log, etc.) they prefer. This policy shall apply to all subject areas.
b.    Teachers may be allowed to use ready made lesson plans if in their own evaluation such plans are relevant and appropriate for the current lesson / topic.
2.   In view of this new policy, instructional supervisors are hereby enjoined to maintain and sustain their regular or periodic supervisory visits to schools or teachers specifically to those who need their assistance.
3.   After the first year of implementation, Division TEEP Coordinators are required to submit initial feedback report to the C-PISU for consolidation and analysis purposes.
4.   School Divisions outside the coverage of TEEP may adopt this new scheme on lesson planning.
5.   Immediate dissemination of this order is enjoined for the information and guidance of all concerned.
