Resetting the Schedule of the Nonformal Education Accreditation and Equivalency (NFE A&E) Test

1.   In response to the request of the field to give more time for the Registration of the qualified individuals and learners who ate residents of the Pilot Sites covered in the Pilot Implementation Phase of the NFE Accreditation and Equivalency Test of the Philippines Nonformal Education Project as stated in DECS Order No, 40, s. 1999, the Registration Period for the Test is hereby extended up to Friday, 14 May 1999.
2.   Consequently, the NFE A&E Test is reset to the second Sunday of June, 13 June 1999.
3.   The field officials in the pilot sites are urged to undertake advocacy and social mobilization activities to ensure that the interested qualified learners who are 15 years old and above Out-of-School Youth and Adults who arc residents in the pilot sites can avail of this opportunity to earn a nonformal education certificate comparable to the elementary and secondary levels in the formal school system.
4.   Teachers who will be appointed by the Schools Division Superintendents as Examiners and Roving Proctors will be given two days service credit for the two-day service they are going to render, on the day prior to the lest and on the day when the test is held pursuant to the guidelines as enunciated in DECS Order No. 40, s. 1999.
5.   Inclosed is the List of Approved Registration Centers which will also serve as Testing Centers.
6.   Prompt and wide dissemination of this Order to all concerned is desired.
