NEAT/NSAT Review Classes and Prohibition of Sale of Practice Test Brochure

1.   Pursuant to DECS Order No. 78 s. 1999 regarding the administration of the National Elementary Achievement Test (NEAT) and National Secondary Achievement Test (NSAT) this Department announces the conduct of review classes for one week prior to the examination dates of said tests.
2.   The review classes shall prepare the examinees on the process of taking standardized tests and the correct procedure of filling up the answer sheets. Simulated sessions may be conducted.
3.   The National Educational Testing and Research Center (NETRC) will provide test brochures for both examinations without charge to School Divisions and can be reproduced/distributed to schools/pupils. However, these brochures are NOT FOR SALE.
4.   The Regional Directors and the Schools Division Superintendents are enjoined to see to the strict implementation of as well as apply the appropriate sanction for those violating this Order.
5. Immediate dissemination of and strict compliance with this Order are desired.

6. This Order rescinds previous DECS Order oh the prohibition of NEAT/NSAT review classes.
