Reserving One-Hectare of Department Property for the Establishment of the Proposed Cabadbaran National High School

1.   The Department recognizes the need augment the: capacity existing public high schools in the country, more specifically in the provision of free public high pursuant to Section 2 Article XIV the Constitution and as mandated by Republic Act 6655.
2.   The Department takes notice of requests/recommendations for the establishment of a Cabadbaran National High School in the Municipality of Cabadbaran, Agusan Del Norte to provide free public secondary education in the area.
3.   The Department owns a 4-hectare lot in Cabadbaran where the Cabadbaran South Central Elementary School is located. Said property can further accommodate the facilities of a National High School, should one be created by law, pending the transfer of said National High School to a more suitable site.
                      IN VIEW OF THE FOREGOING, ONE (1) HECTARE of the aforementioned property located in Cabadbaran, Agusan Del Norte is hereby reserved as one of the possible areas for the establishment of the proposed Cabadbaran National High School to accommodate the same until its transfer to a more suitable site.
