Prohibition to Conduct NEAT and NSAT Review Sessions and Solicitation from Examinees

 To:   Regional Directors
Schools Division/City Superintendents
Private and Public School Principals
The NEAT and NSAT are meant to gauge the achievement levels of students as an input to improving the teaching-learning process and for planning purposes.  The results must therefore e reflective of the student’s learning.
Thus, concerned school authorities are ordered to desist from offering any form of review for students prior to the National Elementary Achievement Test (NEAT) and National Secondary Achievement Test (NSAT).
No classes may be suspended to give way for such review sessions.  Similarly, no extra classes may be held for such sessions.
No solicitation in any form from parents, teachers and students will be allowed for review sessions to be conducted.
Wide dissemination of this Memorandum for guidance and compliance of the subject is desired.
