Corrigendum to DepED Order No. 13, s. 2007 (Reorganizing the DepED Special Committee on Scholarships for Lo9cal and Foreign Grants)

- The signing’ authorities for endorsement and travel authorities are the Undersecretary for finance and Administration for non-teaching personnel and the Undersecretary for Programs and Projects for teacher-nominees.
- The Joint Scholarship Secretariat composed of members from the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Programs and Projects and the Staff Development Division, Human Resource Development Service (SDD-HRDS) shall have the following functions:
SDD-HRDS receipt and dissemination of scholarship invitations and announcements, paper evaluation of nominations and maintenance of scholarship database.
Office of Assistant Secretary for Programs and Projects – preparation of endorsements and travel authority to donor countries and the Department of Foreign Affairs and organize the interview screening process. - The regional scholarship committees shall conduct screening for the short listing of school, division and regional nominees, for endorsement to the DepEd Special Committee on Scholarships. The regional scholarship committees shall also ensure that scholarship invitations are widely disseminated to all potential grantees.
- This Order takes effect immediately.
