Fund Allocation for Special Education Centers

- In order to strengthen the operation of existing Special Education (SPED) Centers in the Philippines, the Department of Education (DepED) shall download Eighty Four Million Pesos (PhP84M) to the two hundred seven (207) SPED Centers nationwide.
- The 207 SPED Centers shall be provided an amount proportionate to the enrollment and exceptionalities being served. The regions and divisions where the SPED Centers are located shall likewise be provided funds to monitor SPED Center activities and provide technical assistance. The fund allocation for each region, division and SPED Center is in Enclosure No. 1.
- The guidelines on the utilization of funds are contained in Enclosure No. 2.
- Immediate dissemination of and compliance with this Order is directed.
