1.   Inclosed is a copy of Civil Service Memorandum Circular No. 6 dated 12 February 1998 which provides the list of laboratories/hospitals conducting laboratory examinations, neuro-psychiatric examinations and drug tests which all officials and employees entering the government service are required to undertake as provided in Civil Service Memorandum No. 34 dated 22 December 1997 (copies attached).

2.   As stated in said CSC-MC No. 6, s. 1998, all heads of departments/agencies may coordinate directly with said laboratories/hospitals or any other hospital/laboratory or clinic they may identify which is accredited and licensed with the Department of Health to render said services.

3.   The Regional Directors in the various DECS regional offices are requested to coordinate with the nearest laboratories/hospitals within their locality which have the necessary facilities.

4.   Wide dissemination of this Order is desired.
