  1. Inclosed is a copy of Memorandum Circular No. 19, s. 1990, of the Civil Service Commission regarding the policy adopted by the Commission on requests for correction of birth dates of officials and employees in the civil service.
  2. In this connection, attention is invited to MEC Order No. 19, s. 1981, entitled Policy on Request for Change of Birth Dates of Officials and Employees. A copy of the said MEC Order is also inclosed for ready reference.
  3. Requests for correction of birth dates which are not in accordance with the policies of the Civil Service Commission and this Office should not be acted upon.
  4. This Order should be brought to the attention of all officials, teachers and employees for their information and guidance.
