Creation of a Department of Justice Task Force to Assist DECS

Vocational School Principals/Administrators/Superintendents

  1. In the interest of the service and pursuant to Department of Justice Order No. 138 dated July 9, 1990 issued by the Secretary of Justice, the Task Force DECS is hereby created composed of the following officials:
    SSP Lualhati R. Buenafe – Chairman
    SP Francisco Benedicto – Member
    SP Reynold Yaneza – “
    SP Alicia de los Santos – “
    SP Aurora Jose – “
    PA Stella Marie T. Palomar – “
  2. The Task Force shall have the following functions and authority:
    1. Undertake investigation of complaints referred to it by the Secretary on certain acts or omissions of any official or employee of DECS which constitute violations of Civil Service Law and its implementing rules and regulations, Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees (R.A. 6713), Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act, Revised Penal Code and internal rules and regulations of DECS;
    2. Issue subpoena and/or subpoena duces tecum to secure the appearance of person(s) and/or document(s) required in the pursuit of the investigation;
    3. Administer oath and take testimony of person(s) relative to the investigation;
