Rationalizing the Establishment of Secondary Schools

Vocational School Superintendents/Administrators1.   In view of the establishment of secondary schools by virtue of legislative enactments (Inclosure No. 1) and the approval of this Office as stipulated in RA 6655 (Section 7), as well as the great number of pending Congressional bills establishing new high schools (Inclosure No. 2), there is a need to rationalize the distribution of schools in the different regions in the country.2.   Regional directors are required to submit to this office (Attn.: Director, Bureau of Secondary Education) not later than August 15, 1991 the needed information using the prescribed form. (Inclosure No. 3)

3.   In the meantime, all regional offices shall stop processing papers requesting for the establishment of schools/opening of annexes/extension classes.

4.   Immediate compliance is desired.
