Discouraging the Conduct of Promotional/Educational Surveys in Schools by Any Enterprise

Heads of Private Schools, Colleges and Universities
Vocational School Superintendents/Administrators

  1. This Office directs all public school officials not to allow private commercial enterprises to conduct educational surveys and promote their products in schools. These activities disrupt classroom activities.
  2. These private commercial enterprises should refer to the DECS-approved list of books and abide with the Department’s procurement system if they want to sell their books and other instructional materials.
  3. Private schools will use their own discretion in such cases.
  4. Compliance of all concerned is desired.
