1. For the information and guidance of the field, inclosed is a copy of Republic Act No. 8190 entitled “An Act Granting Priority to Residents of the Barangay, Municipality or City Where the School is located in the Appointment or Assignment of Classroom Public Schoolteachers.”
2. It is understood that any teacher-applicant who possesses all the minimum qualifications for the position as required by law should not be denied the privilege. Attention is hereby invited to Section 2 of the said Act for any violation of such.
3. Widest dissemination of and compliance with this Order is directed.
