Awarding and Closing Program end 19th CRAM

Butuan City Division was again officially declared as the winner or champion during the awarding and closing ceremony of 19th Caraga Regional Atheltic Meet (CRAM) held on February 9, 2016, Polysports Complex, Brgy. Tiniwisan, Butuan City. On its six years consecutive winning streak, the Division of Butuan City displayed their unbeatable skills appeared to surface against the rest of the participants with no mercy. The Division of Agusan del Sur made it to the second place while Division of Surigao del Sur garnered the third place. Most, if not all of the official delegation from 12 Divisions, attended the awarding and closing ceremony on their respective formation at the playground of Polysports Complex. Dr. Ramir B. Uytico, CESO IV announced the result of two special awards and declared the delegation of Agusan del Norte Division for winning both Best in Billeting Quarters and Most Discipline Delegation. “I would like to express my deepest gratitude and heartfelt thanks to the host of 19th CRAM-Division Office of Butuan City and Local Government Unit of Butuan City for making and attaining this significant event successful, Dr. May B. Eclar, CESO V said on her message. She was also extending her gratitude to the other government agencies recognizing them as partners for unselfishly extending their all-out support and making the affair possible and successful. Everything was in placed and to mention few such as the services of immediate medical attention provided for those injured athletes; the full security given 24/7 both in billeting quarters and main venue; and the provision of water supply. Dr. Eclar also emphasized that winning or losing the game is not the one that matters at all. She considered all the athletes as winners and hope too that they will keep the value and spirit of sportsmanship. “While it is true that some of you have no experience yet on the sports arena, but I encourage everyone continue to believe that you are the best. Nurturing your respective skill and practice the sense of optimism, someday it cause to push and come out us triumphant to the national competition known as Palarong Pambansa. Congratulations and to God be the glory, she added and ending her speech.” Singing the Caraga March signalled the significant event soon to end and all athletes from 12 Divisions could not withhold to separate their ways and return to their respective place of origin. Too much joy displayed in the face of the athletes for such short period of time they were able to gain friends though somehow loss in the field of competition.
