DepEd Announces New Exam Dates For LAPG and NAT G6

City of San Fernando, La Union – The Department of Education (DepEd) thru DepEd Memo No. 26 dated February 17, series of 2016, sets the official examination dates for the administration of Language Assessment for Primary Grades (LAPG) and the National Achievement Test for Grade Six (NAT G6) for School Year 2015-2016.

The LAPG for all Grade Four Learners in all public schools nationwide shall be administered on June 15, 2016 and the NAT G6 for all Grade Seven learners in all public and privates secondary schools shall be administered on June 17, 2016.

Additional NAT for Grade Ten (NAT G10) shall be administered on June 23, 2016 to select learners in public and private secondary schools nationwide.

DepEd reminds all test takers to indicate in their respective answer sheets, the schools where they completed their Grades Three, Six, and Ten Curricula.

The LAPG aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Mother Tongue-Based Multilingual Education (MTB-MLE) instruction across 19 languages and to correlate development across Early Grades Reading Assessment (EGRA), Early Grades Mathematics Assessment (EGMA) and language literacy assessment in the primary grades.
