City of San Fernando, Pampanga—In support of the thrust of delivering quality education where the curriculum is the heart and centerpiece, the Department of Education Regional Office III will be launching its first ever series of documentary videos on the best practices and accomplishments of the 2015 Regional Outstanding Public School Teachers and School Heads in coincidence with the celebration of the World Teachers’ Day on October 5.

With the theme “Gurong Central Luzon, Susi sa Dekalidad na Edukasyon”, the said videos shall serve not only as inspiration and motivation for other teachers and school heads to emulate but as inputs in enhancing the curriculum in terms of delivery of instruction and management of school operations and school leadership.

This endeavor is corollary to the success of the 2015 Regional Search for Outstanding Public School Teachers and School Heads which culminated in the awards ceremony on December 22, 2015 at Widus Hotel, Clark Freeport, Pampanga. The 20 awardees are living examples of quality instruction and transformational school leadership which are the essentials of the curriculum.

The titles of the videos are “Multimedia in Teaching”, “Buong Puso Para sa Pagtuturo”, “Musika, Sining at Kultura”, “Biyaya sa Patubig”, “Math Masaya”, “Puso sa Pagsusulat”, “Blending Curriculums through Arts and Culture”, “Caste-Like System as a Motivational Technique in Teaching Mathematics”, “Buddy Combo System”, “Earning while Learning”, “Sa ALS ang Pag-asa”, “Project ALAM”, “Communio et Misio”, “Katulong sa Pag-Angat”, “Search for the Best Classroom”, “Double Cause”, “ALS Para sa Lahat”, “Virtual Learning”, “Leadership by Example”, and “Culture of Excellence.”

The videos highlight each awardee and their best practices and accomplishments and will be uploaded in the official DepEd website to serve as resource and learning materials.•
