Borres, Natividad lead blessing, turn-over ceremony of new building

Dr. Isabelita Borres and Dr. Pedro Melchor Natividad, Regional Director and Assistant Regional Director respectively of DepEd RO IX spearheaded the turning-over and blessing of the new building on November 21, 2016 located at Airport Road, Tiguma, Pagadian City.

This is a multipurpose facility for use in the different training programs to be conducted in the region.

Gracing the occasion are Gov. Antonio Cerilles ably represented by Mr. Edward Pintac, Board Member, Prov. of Zambo. Sur, Schools Division Superintendents, Chiefs of the Functional Divisions and personnel of DepED RO IX.

Rev. Fr. Eugenio Cagoco, Pagadian City Diocesan officiated the blessing of the building.

This event treads another milestone in its quest to provide with an excellent educational academy in the region through this facility which sooner or later this building expectedly will provide a conducive environment for learning to train school heads.

“As a steward of this facility, we hope to maintain and safeguard the property particularly in maximizing its utilization. Thus, paving the way for this office to conduct array of activities that will help improve or capacitate personnel from the regional office down to its field offices”, said Borres.

She further said that, “clear identification of the necessity follows the realization of a new building which have been designed to meet different needs in the region.”

Despite the absence of other amenities to make the function halls fully equip, the training schedules have already been in full swing in its operation to date.

“The ribbon cutting is a tangible manifestation that said structure is another landmark in the regional office” the director further commented.

The office is grateful to its leaders in their laudable efforts which made this dream realized in the appropriate season whereby it is in time for the series of trainings that are already lined up in the Human Resource Development Division.
