The Philippine Veterans Week is a commemorative event celebrated from April 5 to 11 of every year in remembrance of the valor of our Filipino freedom fighters.

During the 75th anniversary of the Araw ng Kagitingan commemoration, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte reminded the youth to look at their elders with much respect, and to view them with a deep sense of trust. He expresses his gratitude to all our veterans by saying that, “without them, we would not be here.”
