Priority Programs

LEARNER GOVERNMENT PROGRAM

It is the foremost co-curricular student organization authorized to operate and implement pertinent programs, projects, and activities in schools nationwide. It aims to empower students to strive for excellence in academics, leadership, and social responsibility, and develop a love of country, values, and competencies to reach their full potential and contribute to the nation.

CAREER GUIDANCE PROGRAM

The program aims to help learners explore their choices and make responsible decisions relevant to their career pathing. This includes planning for their track and strand for Senior High School, choosing their curriculum exits (Higher Education, Employment, Entrepreneurship, and Middle-Level Skills Development), and planning for their future.

LEARNER ALLYSHIP PROGRAM

One of the major responses of the Youth Formation Division for inclusive learner participation is the creation of the Allyship program. It aims to improve the YFD’s delivery of services particularly in terms of providing education on issues related to diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as creating opportunities for our learners with special education needs such as IP and ALS, and provide them with learner formation support services.

LEARNER FORMATORS’ AND TEACHER-ADVISORS ENHANCEMENT PROGRAMS

These programs aim to capacitate Youth Formators and Teacher Advisers to manage student organizations and provide curriculum support for personal, social and emotional education development. It also aims to increase their level of participation and strengthen their roles in implementing program, projects, and activities.

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS, ADVOCACIES AND CAMPAIGNS

These initiatives aim to develop the skills, knowledge and capabilities of our learners to become empathic and effective leaders as they strive to create a positive impact in their respective schools and communities. These includes the following PPAs, but are not limited to:

• Campaign Against Substance Abuse through BKD +
Learners’ Convergence PH
• Special Events
