- In line with the National Indigenous Peoples Education Policy Framework as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 62, s. 2011, as well as its commitment to achieve its Education for All (EFA) 2015 targets and the Millenium Development Goals (MDGs), the Department of Education (DepEd) intends to strengthen its policy on Indigenous Peoples Education (IPEd) by developing and implementing the IPEd Program.
- In support of this commitment, the enclosed Implementing Guidelines on the Allocation and Utilization of the Indigenous Peoples Education (IPEd) Program Support Fund under the IPEd Program for Fiscal Year (FY) 2013 budget shall be provided to selected regions and divisions to effectively implement the program subject to the guidelines on the availment, release, utilization and liquidation thereof.
