Lifting the Moratorium on the Evaluation of Instructional Materials

  1. To improve basic education in the public schools by providing them with greater access to varied and updated instructional materials for elementary and secondary school students and teachers, the moratorium on the evaluation of instructional materials, both foreign and local, contained in Office Order dated March 26, 1990 is hereby lifted effective immediately.
  2. For this purpose, instructional materials may now be submitted for evaluation. All submissions and inquiries may be addressed to:

    Department of Education, Culture and Sports
    2nd Floor, Rizal I Bldg.
    University of Life Complex
    Meralco Avenue, Pasig City
  3. Wide dissemination of this Order to all concerned is desired.
